are all just words for drool and slobber.
Watery Wednesday.
Our hyena friend here was watching a wolf get a nice belly rub from its attractive female handlers. It turned to look at me, head tilted slightly, as if to ask, "where can I get one of those?"
I dunno, buddy, I dunno. For now, solely in dreams.
Funny, but gross! ;o)
ReplyDeleteFunny but I'm going to call you on cheating. Ain't no way I'm gonna consider spit the same as water. LOL! :-D Too funny.
ReplyDeleteI do have some dog friends, but I don't think I could stretch to make this guy's acquaintance. He is too scary for me...definitely falls into the "wild animal category". Great photo!
ReplyDeleteFair enough. I just always considered "watery" to be water-like such as to refer to liquids in general. I'll keep that in mind for future editions as I have some other liquid but non-water photos that I was considering for submission.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your humor! And always I enjoy your beautiful pictures. Love all the interesting animals. Thanks so much for your comments :)
ReplyDeleteHandlers giving a wolf a belly rub? Doesn't sound like the smartest thing to be doing. Hyena waiting for his turn...yeah, dream on...that's really not going to happen. Great photo of an animal that really scares me!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting shot and definitely watery :-)
ReplyDeleteDunno about giving wolf a belly rub ... sounds like the animal handler out at Animal Ark, that told me how she got into the enclosure with the Cheetah and spun the lure so that he could run.
I asked if it she thought it was dangerous. She told me it wasn't, as long as she kept him focused on the lure !!!
With or without water, this is a great shot! Hyenas are really frightsom animals!
ReplyDeleteI'd give a wolf a belly rub - but not a hyena. Scary looking critters...
ReplyDeleteIf it's a canid, I'm probably going to love it regardless of variety. But a hyena... I'm probably going to love from a safe distance. Then again a "safe" distance might be close enough for a belly rub for the right animal.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture!
